St Austell Festival of Children's Literature
Reading changes everything.
After a successful first event in 2023, the St Austell Festival of Children’s Literature is returning, bigger and better for 2024. Books and authors will be taking over the centre of St Austell from Friday 28th – Sunday 30th June. An adventure awaits all who join us!
With over 25 children’s authors, including Hannah Gold, Onjali Q. Rauf, and Louie Stowell, the festival promises a variety of events catered to children aged 0-16.
We are also thrilled to announce that our Festival Patron, AF Steadman, will be dropping by to sign copies of her latest best-seller – Skandar and the Chaos Trials!
From author events to illustrator workshops, the festival offers a family-friendly celebration of literature. With a nominal entry fee of £1.00 for each event, the festival ensures accessibility, encouraging everyone to partake in the joy of reading.
Events are spread across multiple venues in St Austell, including the White River Cinema and Unit 4.
