Volunteering

Become a part of the St Austell Festival of Children’s Literature community!

Our festival would not thrive without the dedication of our volunteers. While the event is spearheaded by a small group of Trustees, creating such a fantastic celebration of reading for pleasure in St Austell requires the support of a diverse group of local heroes. These volunteers come from schools and wonderful individuals from across the community.

Volunteers play a crucial role in ensuring everyone has a fantastic time at the festival. There are countless ways to get involved, including:

  • chaperoning authors to and from events
  • assisting families in finding seats and venues
  • answering questions and providing information to visitors
  • managing events
  • setting up/wrapping up the festivities

We’re confident that there’s a perfect role for you, and we guarantee you’ll have a blast! Even if you can’t help at the event we are always in need of help prior to the weekend.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to be a part of something special, get in touch via this form.

Many thanks to all the volunteers who have already supported us!
